What is Fed with Love?

Fed With Love is a community-centered event designed to connect families with trusted resources, education, and support around infant feeding and postpartum wellness.

 

By bringing together lactation professionals, community organizations, and advocates, we aim to create a space where families feel informed, supported, and empowered.

FAQ

  • What should I bring? We recommend bringing comfortable walking/running shoes, water, snacks, sunscreen, and anything you need for your baby or child.

  • Will there be parking available? Yes, additional details about parking will be shared closer to the event.

  • Will food or drinks be available? Food will not be provided at this time. We encourage attendees to bring snacks and drinks for themselves and their little ones. If any updates are made, we’ll be sure to share them in advance.

  • Where do proceeds from the event go? Proceeds from Fed with Love support efforts to expand access to lactation and postpartum care for families in our community.

  • What happens if it rains? Fed with Love is a rain-or-shine event. In the case of severe weather, updates will be shared via email and social media.

  • Do I have to register to attend? The event includes both registered and open components. Registration is required for the 1K and 5K. The Lactation Resource Fair is free and open to the public. 

  • Can I attend if I’m not a parent? Absolutely! This event is for the entire community; partners, friends, professionals, and supporters are all welcome.

  • Is the event family-friendly? Yes! Families, children, and babies are welcome

  • Is the event stroller-friendly? Yes, the event is designed to be accessible for families, including those with strollers.

  • Who is the Lactation Resource Fair for? This event is for: Expecting parents, New and postpartum parents, Parents of infants and toddlers (0–2 years) , Support partners and family members, Whether you're preparing for your first baby or navigating life with a toddler, this space was created with you in mind.

  • Is this event only for breastfeeding families? Not at all. While we center lactation and infant feeding, this event is for all feeding journeys: breastfeeding, pumping, formula feeding, combination feeding, and those still figuring out what works best for their family.

  • Do I need to register in advance? We encourage families to register for the Lactation Resource Fair ahead of time to help us plan and ensure the best experience for everyone. Walk-ins will be welcome, but space and materials may be limited. Registration is required for the 5K portion.

  • Is there a cost to attend? Registration is FREE for the Lactation Fair only. You can click here to register for the 1K or 5K​​
